Find out more about how we are celebrating, thanks to a grant from the City of Kingston council!
The Moorabbin Area Toy Library is celebrating Children’s Week 2021 with a free take-home Activity Pack, our theme this year is ‘Celebrating People who help us’.
These packs will be available for our members to collect on Saturday 23rd October from 10am. If you are a non-member you can book in for your pack by visiting our Try Booking page.
Recognising and showing gratitude for all the work that people in the community do to help us is especially important this year, which is why we have chosen to put our focus on this.
Included in each pack is everything you need for 4 different activities:
– Thank you card craft (you could give to your teacher, the postie, your local grocery store or even your parents!)
– Community helper matching game- how many different people can you spot?
– Make your own Doctor Bag craft
– Community helper Paper Hat craft
We will also be hosting a Live Facebook event on Saturday 30th October at 10am, with stories and songs celebrating our local heroes and a sneak peek at some of the fantastic new toys that will make these roles come to life at home!
