Earth Aware Children's Week Event - 19th October

Come and celebrate Children's Week with us! We'll be hosting a nature-themed "Earth Aware" Stay and Play event in the lush setting of the East Bentleigh Community Garden, with a nature incursion, face painter and lots of fun activities and toys to engage with. Make sure to book your free ticket today!

We are thrilled to invite local children and families to celebrate Children’s Week at our ‘Earth Aware’ Stay and Play event, hosted at the East Bentleigh Village Garden, within the Moorleigh Community Village.
Come and enjoy a range of play-based activities including garden exploration and nature play, a plant growing incursion by Little Sprouts Program, face painting, a nature rubbing craft activity and toys from our collection that encourage environmental awareness, exploration and discovery.
We hope you’ll join us to celebrate Children’s Week and experience this fun, inclusive and wonder-filled event that highlights the importance of looking after our planet.

When: Saturday 19th October, 10am – 12pm

Where: East Bentleigh Village Garden, Moorleigh Centre, 90-92 Bignell Road, East Bentleigh

Cost: This is a free event (thanks to the generous support of the Victorian Government), but you will need to book a ticket via Humantix
A few extra thing to know:
  • Please reserve a ticket for each child attending. You do not need to reserve tickets for children under the age of one, or adults.
  • A maximum of 30 children can attend the GROW Incursion, so first in best dressed!
  • The face painter will be on site from 10am, so again please get to the event on time to avoid disappointment
  • You don’t need to be a Toy Library member to attend, but we do encourage you to spend some time on the morning of the event touring our Toy Library as you’ll discover many benefits of becoming a member!
  • There will be a coffee van!
