Our doors are open once again!

November 17, 2021

We are thrilled to be welcoming our members and visitors to browse and borrow during our normal opening hours.

With the easing of restrictions in November, Toy Libraries are returning to normal!
We are thrilled to be welcoming members and visitors to browse and borrow during our normal opening hours.

There is no need to book a time, but we are still subject to capacity limits and other Covid Safe measures, so please be patient if we are busy.

If you are one of our new members who joined during lockdown then make sure you let us know so we can give you a tour of the library and help you with your first browsing experience.

The health of our members, volunteers and staff is paramount, so we have systems in place to ensure everyone can swap toys safely.

  • Face mask usage must be in line with current government restrictions
  • All visitors/members must check in using our QR code and show their vaccination certificate or medical exemption
  • We ask that if possible, only 1 member of each family attends at a time, to allow more members per session
  • We would also appreciate it if children can be left at home, where possible. If your child does come along they need to stay with you at all times
  • Members should try and avoid touching toys they do not intend to borrow (you can understand now why we recommend leaving kids at home!)
  • Toys must be thoroughly cleaned by members before their return, in line with DHHS regulations
  • Our Coordinators are regularly cleaning high-touch surfaces, as well as completing our usual cleaning at the end of each session

Now that the Toy Library is back open, our Volunteering calendar is also open for all members to complete their duty sessions. We encourage you all to book in early to secure your preferred day and time.

Look forward to seeing you all soon!
