We celebrated with a week of Springtime themed activities for our members to do at home and a range of new toys, all proudly supported by a grant from Kingston Council.
Children’s Week is a national celebration that recognises the talents, skills, achievements and rights of children. Events ran from Saturday 24 October to Sunday 1 November 2020, with thousands of Victorian children taking part in the festivities.
We celebrated with a week of Springtime themed activities for our members to do at home and a range of new toys, all proudly supported by a grant from Kingston Council. We loved seeing all of the members joining in with our Colouring Competition, Scavenger Hunt & Craft activity! It was a great way to connect with our community while we were in lockdown, and gave parents another way to keep the kids amused while they were at home.
Keep your eye out for the fantastic new toys that were purchased with the grant money next time you visit the library, there is something for all ages and abilities!
