New Music toys have arrived!

We have a great range of new music toys, instruments and costumes hitting the shelves thanks to our 2020 grant from Glen Eira City Council. There is something for all ages- from 1st instruments for babies through to Casio keyboards and large drums for the older kids (you won’t believe the fantastic sound these drums make!). Our costumes have also had a massive boost, with lots of great options for Book Week, Dress-up parties or just having fun at home!

Music can benefit your child in so many areas– language, concentration, creativity and social skills, just to name a few!

• Studies have shown that music stimulates the brain and enhances neural connections.
• Learning and playing music improves children’s speech development, sound recognition, and teaches rhythm and rhyme.
• Playing and dancing to music helps children develop their motor skills.
• Making music with other people (family and friends) improves children’s social and emotional skills.
• Music can give children a way to express themselves, to unleash their creativity, to be inspired and uplifted, to relax, and to relieve stress and tension.
