We were so honoured to receive the Glen Eira Community Group of the Year Award this week!
Our representatives, Renate Axford (President) and Megan Edlich (Library Coordinator) attended the Glen Eira Community Awards this week at the Caulfield Town Hall, celebrating all of the great work that volunteers have done over the past year.
We were so excited to be nominated in the Community Group of the Year category, and even more so when we found out we had won!
Our purpose is to help give families the tools for play, and last year brought that into focus even more. It was a tough year for everyone, especially those with young children who were often juggling work and parenting at the same time with little or no outside help or distractions.We were delighted to be able to offer Click & Collect and Home delivery services to all of our members so that they could help keep the family entertained and having fun!
It wasn’t without it’s challenges though, and there was a lot of work done by our Coordinators and committee behind-the-scenes to make it all run as smoothly as possible. We want to acknowledge all of their hard work, which has led to us being given this prestigious award.
