Your Toy Library Roadmap

October 10, 2021

Here's our five-step Toy Library Roadmap, keeping you and your family supported with the tools for play until we are able to open up properly again.

The recent release of the Victorian Government Roadmap gives us a lot more certainty about how we will be running the Toy Library over the coming months. We expect to be running Click and Collect until we reach 80% of the eligible population vaccinated – on or around 5 November.

With that in mind, here’s your five-step Toy Library Roadmap, keeping you and your family supported with the tools for play until we are able to open up properly again.

  1. Before the end of September – Book in for a Click and Collect session on a Wednesday night or Saturday morning to refresh your toys.
  2. Early October – Book a volunteering session in November for when we open up. Get in quick to have your choice of dates.
  3. Mid October – Come by the Toy Library to pick up a take-home activity pack to celebrate Children’s Week. More details soon!
  4. End October – Make sure you’re following us on social media (Facebook and Instagram), as we’ll be doing some special posts to mark Children’s Week.
  5. Early November – Come in to the Toy Library, we’d love to see you again for a safe in-library session!

P.S. If you are outside of our 10km or quarantining under a health order, please email us and we’ll see what we can do to support you with fresh toys, puzzles and games!
